We are not a licensing board and do not verify state licensing, insurance, or perform background checks. Always confirm a contractor’s credentials independently — including with the Idaho Division of Building Safety — before hiring. You hire any contractor at your own discretion and risk.

What “Verified” means

When we mark a contractor as Verified it means we have confirmed the following at the time of listing:

• The business phone number is active and reachable
• The business website (if listed) is active
• The business appears in one or more public directories such as Google Business, Yelp, Angi, or the BBB
• The business is locally operated in the Treasure Valley region

“Verified” does not mean we have personally inspected the contractor’s work, confirmed their current licensing or insurance status, or endorse the quality of their services.
